Chris holding the 2008 Oscar for “Best Cinematography”; Robert Elswit won the award for “There Will Be Blood.” I had the great privilege of working with Robert on “Duplicity.” He brought his Oscar to the “Duplicity” Production Office in NYC when he returned from the ceremony. If you look closely, you can spot a piece of gum in my mouth. Fun Fact: This is the second Oscar I’ve had the great privilege of holding. When I had the great privilege of interning for Jonathan Demme, I got to hold his “Best Director” Oscar for “The Silence of the Lambs”… the third Oscar that my humble hands will have the great privilege of holding will be the one that I win myself one day in the near future :)
